Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) has embarked on a visionary journey towards the future through the Amman Smart City Project, a pioneering Design-Built-Operate-Transfer (DBOT) initiative aimed at fostering robust collaboration with the private sector and seamlessly integrating cutting-edge solutions. This ambitious undertaking unfolds in four distinct waves of projects, with the inaugural wave focusing on four pivotal subprojects under the smart mobility theme.
GAM invites interested bidders to submit their proposals for the above mentioned RFP. The RFP can be found on the following website: www,gamtenders.gov.jo, including a full description of the procurement process , technical and financial requirements; and other information such as ; eligibility and qualification requirements; contract start date; planned contract duration; any response requirements; any other relevant information.
Kindly note the following information:
- Interested bidder is responsible to review the (General Qualification Eligibility) before purchasing the RFP.
- Local bidders must be registered in the “National E-Invoicing System”.
- The interested bidder can obtain a full copy of the RFP with the amount of (5000) JD, and a Certificate of Incorporation / Registration Certificate issued by the competent authority under the law in force in the country of its incorporation no later than September 2, 2024, either:
- by hand from the address below with a receipt of the purchase of RFP or,
- by sending an official email to (gam.tenders@ammancity.gov.jo) attaching the Certificate of Incorporation / Registration Certificate and a receipt of money transfer via a bank transfer to the account of Greater Amman Municipality listed below:

- Requests for clarification (Enquiries) shall be submitted to GAM by hand, e-mail, fax or via courier service to the address shown below no later than August 15, 2024:

- All Proposals shall be submitted by hand or courier service (to the address shown above) in a sealed envelope that contains two sealed separated envelopes; one for the technical proposal and the second contains the Proposal Bond (based on the PROPOSAL BOND FORM in annex 18-A) no later than 12:00 noon (Amman Local Time) of September 23, 2024. (Late submission will be rejected)

- Technical Proposals may be withdrawn or amend and resubmitted. The Bidder shall provide the purchaser with a written request thereof any time before the Technical Proposal Submission Deadline Date.
- GAM or Procurement Committee reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel this RFP and/or the Project all together without assigning any reasons thereof.
- The bidder must follow the website of the Tenders and Procurement Department on the Internet (www.gamtenders.gov.jo) to view any amendments or appendices related to the tenders published above.
