Jamila Khair- Amman Mayor Yousef Al Shawarbeh received the Kazakh Ambassador to Jordan, Talgat Shaldanbay, and discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Amman and Astana to serve fields of municipal work .
Al Shawarbeh and Shaldanbay stressed on the historical cooperation based on the twinning agreement between Amman and Astana in various fields that serve city planning, environmental protection, infrastructure, as well as the cultural and societal fields.
In a related context, Al Shawarbeh met the
Ambassador of Greece to Jordan, Irene Riga, and emphasised the joint cooperation between Amman and Athens via the friendship protocol.
Both sides confirmed the importance of enhancing joint cooperation that serves fields of municipal work, including city management, urban heritage revitalization, tourism, and geographic information systems, as well as aspects that serve the youth and sports sectors.
Shawarbeh and Riga emphasised the deep cooperation through the friendship protocol signed between Amman and Athens.
