Jamila Khair- Amman Mayor Youssef Al Shawarbeh discussed with the Head of the Engineering Offices Association, Abdullah Ghosheh, ways to enhance joint cooperation to serve the facilitation of engineering procedural processes in licensing, buildings, and oversight.
The Mayor confirmed, during the meeting attended by the members of the association, that positive change begins through developing the system of legislation that serves the public interest of the city regarding the engineering work system, including building permits and developing planning for the city, on which the municipality worked in its law.
From His part, Ghosheh appreciated the ongoing communication and relations with GAM to find out the latest engineering developments, the most important of which is the Amman Municipality Law, calling for the reactivation of the Amman Beautification Committee to preserve the architectural appearance of the city of Amman.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides stressed that the remarks that serve to facilitate procedures are considered an opportunity for improvement, and on the necessity of respecting and activating the laws.
