“Rami Al Khaled” Raptures the Audience of “Amman Summer” With Jordanian and Arab Songs

The Jordanian star, Rami Al Khaled and his band have kindled the main stage of Al Hussein Parks through his singing performance which he excelled in, within the activities of the 2010 Amman Summer Festival which lasts until the 31st of the current month, July. The singer could inflame the audience through his performing of a series of Arabic, patriotic, and folkloric songs, well known in the artistic circles, in a great public interaction accompanying the beautiful singing of the artist. On its part, Al Ramtha Band for Jordanian Folkloric Dancing ( Sawt Al Urdon-Voice of Jordan) preceded the festivity with its folkloric shows ( Al Dabkah) with the participation of the Syrian artist “ ‘Alaa’ Abul Jabbar”. The Band basically depends on the pipe, the drum, and the sound produced by the movement of the feet of the dancers, all accompanied by a singer giving rhythms to the movements of the dancers. All of this was preceded with the show presented by “Al khareqoun Band for Modern Dancing, established in 2004, to the tunes of Arabic and Western music. It was distinguished by being light and elegant, in addition to the harmony among its members. Young Mu’taz from the Band presented a football show to the tunes of the 2010 World Cup South African Song, and was well received by the audience. The artistic bands and the cartoon personalities continued to present children shows on the fourth day of the Festival in the children zone. These activities included face paintings and cartoon personalities, in addition to the shows presented by the magician, the clown, and various games and tales. On the sidelines of the Festival, the Seventeenth Ayadi (Hands) Bazaar, backed by the Jordanian Company for Financing Small Projects, shall be held. Following this, one of the marketing services, which Tamweelcom is trying to extend to the small projects founders, shall also be presented. The Bazaar also includes a number of tapestries, ceramics, gifts, and handicrafts like hay. Another bazaar is to be held, and this is backed by Women Fund which is charged with a pioneering role in women and society development. The Fund performs the duties mentioned before through supporting and encouraging male and female founders of small projects and those of limited income, especially women. It also creates opportunities for women to enable them be “productive and active” members in building the society and in increasing the sources of income for themselves and their families.
