Investors wishing to construct high rises in the capital have four districts to choose from: Abdali, Abdoun, Jubeiha, and the airport road, mayor of Amman Eng.Omar Al Maani announced.
Al Maani added "based on the findings of a detailed study, and the major consideration behind the choice of locations are, road capacity, infrastructure, preservation of heritage, maintaining green areas.
In Al Abdali, the high rises will be located within the Abdali Urban Regeneration project .the project includes several high rises buildings featuring, offices, commercials centers, hotels.
The second designated location begins in Wadi Abdoun and ends at the Princess Basma –Prince Ali Ben Al Hussein street intersection ,while the third area is located between Queen Rania road near the sports city ,the area is adjacent to Al Urdon street which connects downtown Amman with the kingdoms northern cities .
The forth area designated for high rises located south of the capital, adjacent to the Eastern edge of the airport road is bordered by Wadi Abdoun road and Jabal Arafat street.
"This is only the first phase of the Amman Master Plan "Al Maani said adding that GAM would announce the remaining stages gradually with the end of the year.
