Al Bara’em Al Wa’edah library in Uhod region held at Sahab Cultural Center a national festival celebrating the 64th anniversary of the Kingdom’s independence.
Head of Uhod’s Local Committee, Ali S’oud Al Raggad, said “Amidst our celebrations of the Independence Day realized by strong will and determination, the Hashemites are still building the glory and dignity of the Jordanian individual, who met all of these deeds with love and loyalty”.
The head of southern east region of Amman at the Public Libraries Department, Hamed Habarneh, reviewed the Hashemite achievements since the foundation of the Emirate of East Jordan until the reign of King Abdullah II. He also highlighted the important role of the Libraries Department in developing the culture and knowledge of the local community.
The concert included songs by the artists: Yousef D’ajah and Majed Zreiqat, in addition to performances of Jordanian folklore presented by GAM band, Jawa Comprehensive School for Girls, Al Abdaliyah Secondary Schools for Girls, and Arwa Bent Abdel Muttaleb School.
