Amman Mayor Eng.Omar Al Maani assured that the municipality will not act as a mediator between lands owners specified as districts with high population density with multi purposes and between the investors, pointing that the municipality role is to legislate and organize these districts.
The Greater Amman Municipality has announced last February the districts with high population density, which is the Northern Gate of Amman, located between Al Urdon Street and Yajooz, with a distance of 1045.1000sq.m, and the middle district on princess Basma street, which is a continuous of the Urban road connecting the city center with modern areas in Abdoun with the distant of 295.1000.sq.m. In addition to the Southern Gate located on the Airport road between Adoun corridor and Jabel Aeafat,Al Hurya,Airport streets, with the distant of 2200.1000.sq.m.
The mayor clarified that the places in public utilities will be two floors in height, in order to protect vision dimensions. He also pointed that the municipality along with the concerning institutions has coordinated to up raise the infrastructure in theses districts.
On his part, the director of the master plan project Eng.Sameer Subhi has presented for lands owners, the growing strategy in these districts.
To be mentioned, the distant of Amman city is 668 km2, to become 1400 km2 after uniting Al Jeeza, Al Mwaqqer, and Sahab, and it is expected to reach 1700 km2 after uniting Marj Al Hamam, Naour, Um Al Basateen, and Hisban.
