Jamila Khair- Amman Mayor Youssef Al Shawarbeh inaugurated Princess Salma Park in Ohod District, on the occasion of His Majesty King Abdullah II birthday, with the attendance of his deputy Mohammed Rasmi Al Qaisi, member of local committee of Ohod District Youssef Al Jarabaa, a number of concerned directors and members of the local community.
The Executive Director of Agriculture at GAM, Engineer Moeen Zreikat, said that the park, established in Ohod District, on an area of 44 dunums, includes two parts, one for families, 5-a-side football pitch, a children's pitch, and streets for walking
Al Zreikat added that 3000 trees were planted, an irrigation system for the cultivated places was constructed, in addition to lightning the area using a solar energy system
In a related context, member of the local committee for Al Mgabalein District, Eng. Atallah Al Ghurair, inaugurated Al Mgabalein Park on an area of 33 dunums, the park included places for families, playing areas for children, the park administration building, a building for monitoring the park equipped with cameras, and a building for health units
