Jamila Khair-The Chairman of the Greater Amman Municipality Committee, Yousef Al Shawarbeh, met in his office, the Dutch Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Stella Kloth, and discussed ways to enhance cooperation and joint work between Amman and Amsterdam.
During the meeting, Al Shawarbeh reviewed GAM's plans and projects to improve the level of services provided to citizens
Al Shawarbeh praised the deep Jordanian Dutch relations based on continuous cooperation, stressing GAM’s keenness to strengthen bilateral relations between Amman and Amsterdam, and support areas of joint work, and expand the horizons of cooperation for the benefit of the two friendly countries.
For her part, Ambassador Kloth praised the level of development that Amman has reached in the municipal and cultural fields, praising GAM’s efforts and projects to develop the infrastructure and raise the level of services provided to the city of Amman and its citizens.
She expressed the Dutch government's readiness to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences for the benefit of both cities
It is noteworthy that Greater Amman Municipality and the Netherlands Government have cooperation in the areas of urban development, enhancing urban flexibility, smart urban water management, green infrastructure, and establishing a flower Auction in Amman in addition to cultural exchange , and exchanging experiences and training in common areas of work.
