Ambassador of Kuwait: the Visit of the Kuwaiti Prince Crowns the Mutual Relations between the Two Countries

Ambassador of Kuwait to Amman, Sheikh Faisal Al Hmoud Al Malek AL Subah, stressed on the strong mutual relations between the two countries, which will be crowned by the visit of His Excellency, Sheikh Subah AL Ahmad Al Jaber Al Subah, Prince of Kuwait, to Jordan on 17 May 2010. During the Ambassador interview at “Amman this Morning” program on Hawa Amman FM, he said that the Prince’s visit falls in line with the special relationships between the leaderships of Jordan and Kuwait, and it shall cover many dimensions as it takes place in a very critical stage and at a turning point that requires the meeting of the two leaders who are always concerned with the nation’s causes and different issues which necessitate wise thinking. He also stated that the official, yet public visit will include signing many agreements in several domains, namely, education, culture, health, works, and civil defense, as well as addressing such aspects, especially those affecting the economical situation in the two countries. The Kuwaiti Ambassador commended the investment environment of Jordan, which enjoys security and stability, providing a fertile base for many investments, highlighting that Kuwait is the first investor in Jordan, with total Kuwaiti investments of one billion JOD. He also commended the quality and qualification of the Jordanian workforce in Kuwait in education, health, culture, and services areas, for its high proficiency and experience, indicating that more opportunities will be opened between the two countries to exchange human experiences. Al Hmoud emphasized the firm Jordanian Kuwaiti attitude towards the Palestinian case, and supporting the Palestinians in their just cause, expressing his hopes for mending fences between all the Palestinian groups and parties to enhance the people’s ability to gain their national rights, and founding a stable state over their land. He also stressed the importance of the municipal work of each city, and declared that twining agreements will be signed between Amman and Kuwait soon to promote the exchange of ideas and experiences in this field, which shall positively impact the two peoples. He expressed his wishes for more prosperity and welfare to both people under the leader’s rule, who dedicated their lives serving the Arab and Islamic nation, and pledged that peace spread in all Arab and Islamic towns. Al Subah concluded the meeting with a felicitation note to the Hashemite leadership and the Jordanian people on the occasion of Independence Day on 25 May, wishing bliss for Jordan and its people towards more development and giving.
