Jamila khair- The Greater Amman Municipality launched today, under the patronage of Amman Mayor Youssef Al Shawarbeh, the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Route (105) connecting Amman and Madaba.
Eight new buses are operating on this route, which runs from the front of Prince Hamza Hospital in Tariq district to Madaba Secondary School for Boys, according to specific time schedules, with 34 trips daily
The buses depart from Madaba at 6:00 AM and from Amman at 7:00 AM, until 8:00 PM in both directions. A bus will depart every 30 minutes from each direction.
The BRT route includes the areas of Tariq, the North Bus Station, Al Madinah Al Riyadiah(Sport City) Circle, Wadi Saqra traffic lights, Princess Basma Street, Abdoun Corridor, Airport Road, Al Zaytouneh University, Madaba Bridge, Andalusia, Kings Academy, Al Mahabeh Circle, and the Islamic Bank in Madaba.
The buses will operate on the designated "BRT" paths within Amman, avoiding regular roads and taking the service road along the airport road for a faster and more efficient journey.
