Amman Mayor Akel Biltaji on Friday inaugurated Souk JARA organized by Jabal Amman Residents Association.
Many representatives of different societies and entities are taking part in the open market which takes place at Rainbow Street.
Touring the souk Biltaji asserted the Greater Amman Municipality s readiness to assist and support exhibitors.
Souk JARA which is held on Fridays hosts booths that sell a variety of merchandise including embroidered products mosaics ceramics woodworks accessories soaps candles and food items.
The souk is a venue for the creative ideas and initiatives of men women and young people as well as local charities providing owners of small businesses and women who work from home with the opportunity to display their products at an outdoor market.
