Amman Mayor Akel Biltaji met a delegation from The Center of Regional Engagement CRE and the leaders student in the United States within the Olive Tree Initiative and discussed the Jordanian political role and its impact on countries in the region.
Biltaji highlighted Amman s history which is full of cultural heritage dating back 12000 years the city development and growth through time and the establishment of the emirate and then the kingdom.
He said that Amman was announced as a member of the C40 CITIES Climate Leadership Group and a member of 100 resilient cities and the city of Compassion and Diversity.
It is worth mentioning that The Olive Tree Initiative is a university based organization that promotes conflict analysis and resolution through rigorous academic preparation experiential education and leadership development.
OTI provides students faculty and community participants with the education training and experiences needed to better understand negotiate and resolve conflicts.
