Amman Summer Festival Allocates Space to  Market Handicraft and Household Products

Jamila Khair- As part of Amman Summer Festival activities, The Greater Amman Municipality allocated specific spaces for citizens in Al Hussein and Jubaiha Parks, to organise a bazaar that aims at displaying and marketing handicrafts and household products, in cooperation with Tamweelcom Company and the Women’s Fund.

100 participants from local communities in various governorates of the Kingdom will benefit from the bazaar, which extends throughout all the days of the Festival and helps motivate owners of handicrafts, embroideries and traditional foods to promote and market their products.

The participants are distributed equally between Hussein and Jubaiha Parks.

The festival's program in its sixteenth edition,   takes into consideration the cultural dimensions by distributing 500 books daily for free to citizens throughout the days of the Festival, which extends until next Friday, and include various fields and titles of literature and intellectual knowledge, education, science, and children's stories.

Amman Summer Festival, characterised by the national theme, continued its activities in Al Hussein and Jubaiha Parks, with performances from Jordanian heritage poetry and folklore, as well as theatrical and cinematic performances directed to children.

It is worth mentioning that the Greater Amman Municipality provided free parking behind the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, and free means of transportation inside Al Hussein Parks to transport visitors to the event sites throughout the festival days.
