Amman mayor Akel biltaji received Baltimore s City Deputy Mayor Kalil Zaied and discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise between Amman and Baltimore in municipal tourist and cultural fields.
Mayor highlighted GAM s future plans and outlined projects to address organizational challenges facing the city.
He added that Amman was announced as a member of the C40 CITIES Climate Leadership Group and a member of 100 resilient cities and the city of Compassion and Diversity.
Zaied underlined his city s willingness to develop ties with Jordan to serve the best interests of the two countries.
It is worth to mention that Zaied was born in Jordan and earned his Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park. And that Baltimore is the largest city in the US state of Maryland and the 26th most populous city in the country.
