The Arabic City Organization celebrates on Thursday the Arabic City Day which comes in the 40 anniversary of establishing the Organization, which began its activity with a 27 city in its foundation conference in 1967,while today is consisting of more than 420 Arabic City.
The Arabic City Organization seeks to raise the Arabic cities and municipalities.
The General Secretary of the Organization Abedl Azeez Al Adasaani said in a speech in the occasion of the Arabic City Day, we began before 40 years with two institution, the first is The Arabic Institute for Cities Development, its an scientific consultants institution taking care of Arabic cities in all its fields and majors, the other is Arabic Cities Development Fund ,its a found specialized in financing the city members in the organization with law rate loans, and its headquarter in Kuwait.
Al Adasaani also said, that we have added a third institution which is Arabic Cities Organization Prize Institution; hat aims to encourage renewing and creation, and preserving the Arabic City identity. He countined, our cities have recorded a remarkable steps throughout balancing their current environmental sociable economical needs with their future needs.
Al Dasaani said that there is the Arabic Cites Environment Center in Dubai, the Arabic Forum for Information Technology in Amman, The Heritage and Preserving City institution, in Tunis.
Al Adasaani clarified that the three new institutions meets in one objective which is, raising the Arabic Cites, and are working according to a strategy and a work plans.
Al Adasaani thanked leaders and governments of Arabic Cites for their support for the Organization in order to achieve its objectives to preserve the heritage and the Arabic Cites Identity.
