The Basman public park is now fully renovated by the Greater Amman Municipality, to be officially re-opened for the public next week. The renovation works were conducted by the Basman Directorate as part of GAM’s efforts to enhance the quality of public parks around the capital.
Eng. Saadallah Ayesh, director of Basman District, said the renovation came upon instructions of the Mayor of Amman, Eng. Nidal Hadid, to give the park an additional dimension of delight and entertainment for its habitués. The overhaul included the renovating of the park’s old ground, building new fountain, and implanting more trees.
Ayesh pointed that Basman district currently embraces eight public parks and now works are underway to rehabilitate another park there. He noted that renovating the public parks in Amman is part of GAM’s objective to utilize the capital’s infrastructure for the betterment of Jordanians and enhance the quality of Amman’s beautification.
