On the occasion of Al Karameh battle and mothers day the Ashrafieh socio-cultural compound held a celebration which simulated in poetry and artistic performances the valor and sacrifices of the Jordanian army in defending our homeland.
Students from several schools in the Ashrafieh area performed songs and poetry passages dedicated to mothers mainstay of the family in honor of their continuing generosity in educating and raising the sons of the homeland.
The head of the Ashrafieh socio-cultural compound Thamer Shawabka and said on the occasion of mothers day that they have produced a CD which displays images and poetry for mothers.
At the end of the ceremony which was attended by 120 students and about 50 women gifts were distributed to mothers.
