The Basman Area of the Greater Amman Municipality organized this week a comprehensive environmental campaign with the participation of 100 people.
The campaign was organized jointly with the Al-Mahata Youth Club, and most of the participants are youth aged between 12 and 16. Engineer Mohammad Nsour, director of Basman Area, said the campaign aimed to preserve the beautification of the area, including the public facilities and infrastructure.
He said the campaign helped in raising awareness among the people over these objectives. The campaign covered most parts of the Al-Mahata Refugee Camp and the its surrounding area, including the streets, the walls, and pathways.
Nsour expressed his gratitude to all who participated in the campaign, including the citizens and the youth in particular.
