GAM Holds a Huge National Ceremony in Prince Faisal Ibn Al Hussein Hall

Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) held on Monday (22/2/2010), at Prince Faisal Ibn Al Hussein Hall, in King Abdulla IIs Sports city in Qweismeh, a national ceremony celebrating the birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II, and the 10th anniversary of proclaiming His constitutional rights. The ceremony, which was organized by the Public Libraries Department of GAM, and the districts directorates of Al Qweismeh, Abu Alanda, Al Jwaideh, and Al Rakeem, included patriotic poems recitation composed by GAM Council member mohammed Sawa’eer, and poet Wasfi Al Sabrat, in addition to a photo presentation for His Majesty, that was prepared by the Directorate of Moral Guidance of the Army; the attending audiences also enjoyed an exciting show of karate sport performed by the participants of Saqr Quraish Center. Students of Prince Taghreed Secondary School, Abu Alanda School, and GAMs Band also presented some outstanding artistic shows and performances. Patronized by the president of the local committee of Al Qweismeh, Abu Alanda, Jweideh and Al Rakeem districts , Ali Badr Al Hadid, the ceremony was attended by GAM council members, Ahmad Mleifi, Mohammad Sawaeer, mohammad manaseer, Ali Qatarneh, Ali Raggad, Mohammad Hneity, Abdul Raouf Bassal, ahmad Aabed, as well as VIPs and residents of the regions. Manager of Qweismeh district, Engineer Ghazi Raggad, said that the celebration of these districts reflects the residents’ enthusiasm on this precious occasion to every Jordanian citizen. Raggad emphasized that the directions of His Majesty, the Leader, which lead us to a secure and promising future have enabled the citizen to participate in the decision making process, which contributed to achieving comprehensive growth, taking advantages, at the same time, of the gains emanating from justice and equal opportunities. Director of Public Libraries Department, Hatem Hamlan, said that the birthday of His Majesty is an occasion worth celebrating to acknowledge and appreciate His Majesty, King Abdullah II efforts and achievements that prevailed over the whole Kingdom. He added that the ceremony is also a celebration of the accomplishments realized by the benevolent Hashemite leadership, as His Majestys era is an era of reform and modernization in managing all the countrys affairs.
