A team of experts from the Special Construction Code Department at Greater Amman Municipality organized a seminar on Thursday about the students with special needs.
The seminar was held at the Islamic Scientific College in Amman, and involved students from the grades five and six. It aimed at enhancing public awareness about the significant to help students with special needs to merge easily in the community and promote their role in the social development.
Engineer Rana Haddadin, director of the department, said the seminar was titled "Let s Live Together", and stressed on the need to lessen the hardships that the students with special need face in their daily lives. She said that more lectures and seminar on that regard will be held in the near future at other schools in Amman.
