GAM Signs Two Agreements with National Express, Payment Centric

Greater Amman Municipality signed a cooperation agreement with National Express Company, upon which citizens of Amman will be able to pay their dues and bills through the credit cards. Mayor of Amman, Engineer Nidal Hadid signed the agreement with NE Chairman, Dr. Fuad Bajjali, who praised the agreement for being similar to previous agreements signed between NE and each of Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Companies Comptroller Department, the Land and Survey Department, Social Security Corporation, Motor Licensing Department, and Lema Water Company. The agreement helps citizens to pay their dues at any of NE branches as well as banks in more convenient and free of charge manner. Hadid also signed another agreement with General Manager of Payment Centric Company, Mr, Samir Mubarak. The agreement serves GAM to provide the Ejaby service for its citizens, who will be able to pay their dues for GAM or traffic fines at any of the 500 certified Ejaby centers around the Kingdom. This service is available through banks and money exchangers. Hadid said that the agreement enhances GAM efforts to provide its citizens with premium and convenient services. Ejaby is an IT-based service that saves time and effort, he pointed out. On his part, Mubarak emphasized that the agreement is a stepping stone for Ejaby service providers, since GAM is being one of the most active departments in Jordan. He praised the cooperation with GAM, in which Jordanians will feel the positive changes in their payments. Nizar Zahran, director of Marketing and Business Development at Payment Centric, said the agreement with GAM is significant in terms of Payment Centric plans to provide Ejaby everywhere in Jordan and through every public institution. He noted that Payment Centric is working to promote the electronic payment services in the Kingdom.
