The Greater Amman Municipality last week said Austrian and British architects won the competition over the design of King Abdullah II Center for Culture and Arts. The new premises will consist of theater with a capacity that reaches 1,600 seats and another smaller one with a capacity of 400 seats. The new theaters will be fully equipped with built-in sound systems and several spaces for training and public zones for restaurants and cafes. The location of the new center will be in Ras Al Ain. The new center will serve the social and local events and would host most of the training programs and national events.
