The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) launched an initiative for distance learning method (E-Learning) through the use of smart cards.
The municipality announced that its training center will adopt the e-learning by using the smart cards this year.
Director of the Training Center Eng. Fadwa Abu Gayda defined the “smart organization “ as “ the organization capable to obtain information easily from the sources,”.
Such method would increase employees knowledge and would lead to increase level of performance, she added.
According to Abu Gayda GAM has already purchased electronic smart cards for the use of the employees. “the first phase of this project will be a testing period for three months,” she said.
