Mayor of Amman meets residents of Tla Al Ali, Khalda and Um Assumaq District and listens to their Demands

Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji instructed officials in GAM to find a solution to the traffic problem that causes accidents at Zainab Al Asadiyah intersection with Munir Noor and Al Bakura Streets. He said that GAM is studying the issue of the traffic lights recently installed on Mecca Street and their impact on traffic movement adding that Wasfi Al Tal Street is considered one of the best organized streets in the capital. During a meeting with residents of Tla Al Ali, Khalda and Um Assumaq District, Biltaji highlighted GAM’s plans to develop the capital, noting that it currently collects 3,500 to 4,000 tons of waste a day, compared with 1,600 tons three years ago. The Mayor listened to the municipal needs and demands of the residents in the meeting attended by Mayor Deputy Yusuf Al Shawarabeh, City Manager Fawzi Masaad, chairman of the local committee for the District Hazem Neimat, the council member flaiyeh Al Shaar and managers of concerned departments.
