Prince Raad emphasized the need to save the dignity of the disabled persons and preserve his social significance to take part in the development process. He reminded of the rights and duties of these people, who should be encouraged to contribute to the welfare of their community.
Prince Raad highlighted the judicious leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II who often instructs his nation to safeguard the rights of disabled people and hearten their social and economic contributions. Prince Raad reminded that King Abdullah was awarded the Roosevelt International Disability Award last year on that regard.
Later in the ceremony, Prince Raad inaugurated the art exhibition made by Amman children representing three schools; National Orthodox, Al-Hussein for Special Challenges School; and Prince Hassan School for Girls. Prince Raad awarded the first three winners of the exhibition on their premium works.
