Director of Queen Rania Gardens Eng.Nancy Abu Hayaneh announced the lunched of "my safety program" which aims to deep the traffic awareness to students at school .Abu Hayaneh added that this program warns the students from the danger they would face on roads and gain them the skills and the right traffic behavior and find a positive directions to avoid the traffic accidents.
She also said that they will hold awareness workshops lectured by officers from the traffic institute and the Gardens employee. Abu Hayaneh clarified that the reason for choseing this issue is because of the high rate of death arranges among children according to the annual report for traffic accidents at kingdom in 2005 the age category from 6-8years has reached 146 death case, and 9-11years has reached 117case.She also said that they achieved a lot of projects with the cooperation of womens association for cultural development to bring the children positive behavior skills and communication skills also.
