The security awareness workshop under the slogan of (Amman City. Safe and Safety) organized by GAM with the cooperation of the community police at the public security department held at the Training center attached to GAM, has concluded. The workshop which lasted for five days, amied to enhance the security sense and awareness for the municipality employees, and to rehabilitate them to work as an alternate for the public security.
Participants in this workshop from the Environmental Departments, has received lectures on Drugs resistance, and the community police concept, and family abuse, and the environmental police role.
Lieutenant Hashem Al Mjali from the Drugs Department clarified the different kinds of drugs, and its dangers, stages, and the department strategy. Where as the head of the community police in the public police departments Major Hussein Al Abbadi the community police concept, and its objectives.
In the same issue, the head assistance of the traffic investigation section, caption Khaled Al Abbadi, presented a paper on Traffic Accidents.
To be mentioned, that this workshop is the first among a public awareness series, organized by GAM, in the cooperation with the police community in the Public Security Department for the municipality employees.
