Under the patronage of Amman Mayor Eng. Omar Maani, Jordan Taameer Holding Company launched the second phase of painting downtown in the capital.
Taameer General Manager Dr. Khalid Wazani participated in the event along with the company’s staff and participants from the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), Sabelah Al Hassan Volunteers Group and residents in the area.
This campaign started in Zahran Street, which one of 18 other locations to be painted.
The company and GAM singed on July an agreement under which they agreed hat Taameer will finance the project by JD 100,000. The duration of the project is 100 days, with direct supervision by 30 supervisors of the GAM’s technical staff.
Taameer’s [participation in this project reflects the company’s role in the social and economical development in the Kingdom.
Wazani said we have launched this campaign under the title “painting the present and building the future”, as a reaffirmation on or commitment to preserve heritage and to enhance the present situation of the city.
Eng. Maani valued the company’s initiative, hoping that such efforts would show Amman in a beautiful way.
Taameer also completed renovation of the Hashymiah School for girls in Aqaba as part of its social responsibility.
The company also is preparing for a charity campaign during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
